Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR)

How do you develop, maintain and manage a network of vehicle repairers and service agents, and authorise and process all of your vehicle maintenance invoices?

The answer is you don’t; you partner with an expert fleet management organisation to manage these processes on your behalf.

Leasedrive has an established (and maintained) nationwide network of high quality vehicle service outlets, both franchised and non-franchised, delivering scheduled servicing, mechanical and minor vehicle repairs. By utilising the latest web-based authorisation and work time monitoring systems, and our in-house team of experts, we are able to ensure effective cost and quality control and management, leaving you free to concentrate on your core business.

Depending on your needs you can choose from a choice of three service, maintenance and repair options: pay on use, fixed cost or budgeted maintenance.

Pay on Use

For a fixed monthly management fee, Leasedrive provides a fully managed service, with all work being re-billed to you at cost.

Fixed Cost Maintenance

Based on an agreed annual mileage we will calculate the anticipated costs of service and maintenance and bill these to you on a monthly basis, reducing your risk and providing ease of budgeting.

This option can be provided in conjunction with our contract hire, contract purchase, and finance lease products.

Budgeted Maintenance

A hybrid option offering regular fixed budgeting but leaving you responsible for the actual costs of service, maintenance and repair. You pay a regular monthly amount, which reflects the estimated cost of maintenance. At the end of the contract there is cost reconciliation between the budgeted amounts and the actual spend.

Our Approach

We appoint and manage our network of suppliers on strict criteria covering service provision and quality as well as simply cost. You or your drivers can book service work through our in-house team online or by phone. Vehicle collection and delivery or a courtesy car can be arranged (subject to availability) to avoid disruption for your drivers and vehicles are washed and vacuumed prior to return.

Our technical services team is manned by experienced, ‘time served’ technicians who monitor the cost and quality of service and maintenance work. Vehicle downtime is closely monitored and action is taken where required to minimise vehicle off road time and cost.

Through investments in industry leading processing capability routine and manual tasks are automated wherever possible, leaving our experts free to focus their knowledge and experience on problem situations and vehicles where they can add real value to you.

The same dual focus on minimising cost and maximising quality applies whether you opt to accept the maintenance risk or for us to manage this on your behalf.

Drive:Manager™ is a comprehensive yet simple to use web-based system offering all-round operational efficiencies and covering all key areas of fleet management.

Routine servicing, maintenance and repair work can all be booked and authorised online (within pre-agreed authority levels where you take the maintenance risk). Meanwhile, you can make the most informed decisions, based on the best available and clearest management information.
